Leo Grondin, 78, of Medford, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith A. (Smith) Grondin who passed away in March of this year.
Leo was born and raised in Berlin, New Hampshire on March 29, 1941. Leo and his late wife were longtime residents of Woburn before moving to Medford in 2013. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Machinist for A.W. Chesterton Company in Groveland. Leo was a quiet and reserved man, who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Leo is survived by a daughter, Kristine Brawley and her husband Charles of Fitchburg; three grandchildren, Robert Grondin and his wife Karla of Merrimac, Mass., Nathan Brawley of Medford, Kaleigh Brawley of Fitchburg; and two great grandchildren, Leo James and Ronni Jae of Merrimac, Mass. Leo is also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Pereira of Woburn, George Smith and his wife Diana of New Hampshire, Sybil Smith of Billerica, and Terri Smith of Woburn.
Leo's memorial service has been postponed, and will be held a later date to be announced. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
