Obituary of Ellen V Chaddock

Ellen V. (Johnson) Chaddock, 96, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, April 4. She was the wife of 55 years of the late William T. Chaddock. Born at home and raised in Woburn, Ellen was one of six children of the late William, and the late Ellen (Larson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Woburn High School, and had lived in Woburn all her life. Ellen was an avid bingo player, and she loved taking trips to the casinos in Connecticut with her daughter Beverly. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and holidays, and loved to be with her family. Ellen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Ellen is survived by one son, Steven Chaddock and his wife Rachel of Dunstable; and two daughters, Beverly Chaddock, and Donna Chaddock and her longtime boyfriend Matthew Perry. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Fallon Adams of Woburn, and Stephanie and Ashley Chaddock of Dunstable; and several generations of nieces and nephews that were very dear to her. In addition to her husband William, Ellen was preceded in death by her five brothers, the late Walter, Kenneth, Carl, Einar, and Herman Johnson. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ellen’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
