Obituary of Mary Chioutsis

Mary (Diamandas) Chioutsis, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away on Thursday morning, April 9. She was 90 years of age. Born and raised in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas, and the late Vivian (Ambazis) Diamandas; and she was the wife of the late Michael K. Chioutsis. Mary worked as an administrative assistant at the former Choate Hospital in Woburn, and later at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She retired in 1993. Mary is survived by two sons, Takis Chioutsis of Woburn, and John Chioutsis and his wife Katie of Butte, Montana; and one daughter, Vivian Thomas and her husband John of Woburn. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Theodore, Nicholas, and Melissa Thomas. Mary was preceded in death by her two beloved dogs, “Sneakers” and “Artoo.” Private services were held last week.
