Obituary of Carol A Salway
Carol A. Salway, of Woburn, formerly of Cambridge, died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, June 17, 2020; with her devoted husband of 52 years, Bernard C. Salway, by her side.
Born and raised in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Walter and the late Eileen (Dunn) Reardon. Carol worked for Harvard University for 40 years, before retiring as Operations Manager for the University. Carol enjoyed travel, and she was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her beloved siblings, the late Marie (Reardon) Quinn, the late Walter Reardon, Jr., the late Barbara (Reardon) Kelly, and the late Claire (Reardon) Silva.
Carol is survived by, and will be sorely missed by her husband Bernard, her sister-in-law Judith DePietro, her brother-in-law James Salway; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Sunday evening, June 21 from 3-7 pm. The funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 22 at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge, Rd., Woburn at 10:00 am. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
