Nina (Pryanikova) Mavrodi, daughter of Valentin and Maria, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Winchester. Born in Russia, former USSR, on June 20, 1941, Nina lived a rich and full life. Nina graduated from Polytechnic university in Kharkov, Ukraine, where she earned a degree in chemical engineering. That is where she met her husband, Anatoly. Nina lost her husband when she was only 32, and raised their two children while working full time. Nina’s many talents and hobbies included delicious homemade cooking, knitting, sewing, playing chess, skiing, gardening, and organizing family celebrations and barbecues. Always kind, thoughtful, adventurous and resourceful, she had impeccable taste and made her home a very comfortable and welcoming place for her family and friends. Above all, Nina was a loyal and loving mother, wife, daughter, and grandmother. All those who knew her had a deep respect for her independent spirit, inner strength, positive outlook, and loyalty. We will miss Nina’s optimism and cheer, and non-judgemental generous nature, her ability to find the good in anyone, her wisdom and guidance. Most of all we will miss her unconditional love.
