Obituary of James A. Bilodeau

James A. Bilodeau, 76, of Medford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, May 2, 2024. He is now with his beloved wife, Gladys who passed away in 2021. Born and raised in Somerville, Jim was the son of the late Alfred, and the late Gloria (Gould) Bilodeau. Jim and his late wife Gladys were longtime faithful members of the North Congregational Church in North Woburn. Jim and Gladys enjoyed spending time at Salem Willows Park in Salem, Massachusetts; and taking trips and excursions to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, Twin Rivers, and other area casinos. Most of all, Jim loved spending time with his family. Jim was the loving husband of the late Gladys H. (Dalrymple) Bilodeau. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Helen Muir of Tewksbury and Kathleen Dalrymple of Westford; and he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, the late Ralph Muir. Jim is also survived by his niece, Serina Paige of Tewksbury; his nephew, Ralph Muir, Jr. and Ralph’s fiancée Blake Work, both of Merrimack, NH; and four great-nieces and nephews, Hailey & Lucas Paige, and Britney & Devin Muir. A graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., in Medford on Tuesday, May 7 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to the North Congregational Church, 896 Main St., Woburn, MA 01801. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
