Obituary of Harold Wayne White

Harold Wayne White, 92, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at his home on Monday morning, February 26, 2024. He was the devoted husband of Mary (Nicosia) White. Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late Herbert, and the late Louise (Colbourne) White. “Wayne” as he was known to family and friends, attended Woburn schools. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. After earning his Honorable Discharge in 1954, Wayne returned to Woburn. Wayne was a longtime antique dealer and restorationist. He was a quiet and humble man, who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Wayne was a past member of the North Reading Lodge, AF&AM. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and gardening, and working around his home. Most of all, Wayne loved spending time with his family. Wayne is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary; and three daughters, Gail White of Woburn, Donna Grieb and her husband David of Billerica, and Robin White of Woburn; and two sons, Wayne White and his wife Jolene of Woburn, and Keith White and his wife Noelle of Bridgewater. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Sunday, March 3 at 2:00 pm, with an hour of visitation prior from 1:00-2:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wayne’s memory may be made to the United Methodist Church, 523 Main St., Woburn, MA 01801.
