Obituary of Mary Alicia Paige
Mary Alicia (Roach) Paige of Randolph passed away peacefully in her sleep at Marian Manor Nursing Home in South Boston on February 10, 2023 at age 100.
Born in Boston, she was the second oldest child of John and Mary Roach. Alicia was pre deceased by sister Francis Copeland and brothers James and John B Roach.
Alicia grew up in Boston where she was active in Morgan Memorial Church of All Nations. She excelled in music and performing arts. She graduated from Boston Conservatory of Music and went on to a career in Library Service with the Federal Government at Hanscom Field in Bedford and then town government in Randolph. In the early 1980’s she became President of Computer Engineering Associates Inc which was a software developer for the US Government as well as commercial businesses.
After retiring she volunteered at Milton Hospital right up until 2019. She was a Randolph resident for 50 years. She loved to travel and her happiest times were spent on Martha’s Vineyard every August celebrating her birthday surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her brother Peter Roach and wife Sara of Hartford, CT, niece Carolyn Peary & husband Dennis of Woburn, niece Tanya Peters & nephew John Roach of Hartford, CT, great nephew Haykim Roach of Sacramento, CA ,nephew Peter Roach II , great nephews Peter III and Mekhi of San Francisco, great niece Lauren Roach of Manhattan, niece Lorraine DiAnne of Hampden, great nephew Keith Silverstein and wife Rosemary, great great nieces Lily & Avery of Burbank, CA, great nephew Seth Gascoigne and wife Delia, great great nieces Eden and Beatrice of London, England, nephew James Roach & wife Fredia, great nieces Ashley & Caitlin of Clemmons, NC. She was a beloved “Auntie” to so many nieces and nephews as well.
A celebration of life is planned for Spring of 2023. Electronic attendance will be available. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
