Obituary of George A. Wiseman

Joint graveside services will be held for George A. Wiseman, and Barbara (Rogstad) Wiseman on Saturday, August 27, 2022. George passed away on January 9, 2022, and his late wife Barbara preceded him in death on January 8, 2017. George was very active in many Masonic organizations, and was serving as the Grand Organist of The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. George was also the longtime organist the North Congregational Church in Woburn. Prior to her retirement George’s late wife Barbara served as the children’s librarian at the Boston Public Library, and as a reference librarian at the Boston Museum of Science. Graveside services for George and Barbara will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00 am. Please gather and park in the parking lot located behind the cemetery chapel, and we will proceed to the gravesite together at 10:00 am.
