Obituary of Judith A. Nutile

Judith A. Nutile, of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29. She was 82 years of age. Born in Newport, RI, and raised in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Alfred C., and the late Marion (Harrison) Nutile. Judy was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1957, and she attended the Burdette Business School. Judith worked for several local insurance agencies in Woburn, prior to purchasing the Rangnar Fridolin Insurance Agency with her late brother Paul Nutile in the 1970s. Judith and Paul later purchased the Gilgun Insurance Agency. After retiring in 2009, Judith kept active with several charitable causes, including the Winchester Hospital Foundation. She maintained an active social life, and always enjoyed spending time with her good friends. A direct descendent of William Bradford, Judith was proud to be able to trace her family tree back to the Mayflower. She was a loving and devoted sister, and loving aunt to her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Judith was the sister of the late William Nutile, the late Alfred Nutile, the late Paul Nutile, and the late Pamela Nutile Simpson. She is survived by her two sisters-in-law, Jean Nutile of Wakefield, and Joan Nutile of Billerica; and one brother-in-law, Robert Simpson of Woburn and Poughkeepsie, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Visiting hours will be at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Sunday, April 3 from 4:00-7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the First Church of Woburn, 322 Main St., in Woburn Center on Monday, April 4 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
