Obituary of Gladys H. (Dalrymple) Bilodeau

Gladys H. (Dalrymple) Bilodeau, 70, of Medford, formerly of Woburn, passed away at the Winchester Hospital after a brief illness on Tuesday evening, October 26. She was the beloved wife of James A. Bilodeau. Born and raised in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Raymond, and the late Margaret (Barr) Dalrymple. Gladys was a life-long beloved member and former Deacon of the North Congregational Church in North Woburn. Gladys enjoyed spending time near the ocean, especially loved visiting Salem Willows Park in Salem, MA with her husband James. Gladys also loved all animals. In addition to her husband James, Gladys is survived by her two sisters, Helen Muir of Tewksbury, and Kathy Dalrymple of Westford; and she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, the late Ralph Muir. Gladys is also survived by one niece, Serina Paige of Tewksbury, and one nephew, Ralph Muir, Jr. of Merrimack, NH; and four great-nieces and nephews, Hailey & Lucas Paige, and Britney & Devin Muir. A graveside service will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., in Medford on Monday, November 1 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gladys’ memory may be made to the North Congregational Church, 896 Main St., Woburn, MA 01801. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn.
