Obituary of Victor Rosa

Victor Rosa, 70, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away at the Kaplan Hospice House on Tuesday evening, August 13. He was the loving husband of Maria E. Diaz Rosa. Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, was one of eight children of the late Merejo, and the late Filomenia (Reyes) Rosa. Victor came to Woburn as a young man, and has lived here ever since. Victor worked as a cook at New Horizons at Choate in Woburn for over 10 years; and also worked at J.J. Grimsby’s Restaurant in Stoneham. He was a friendly, open-hearted man who loved people. But most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife Maria, Victor is survived by two sons, Victor Rosa of Woburn, and Richard “Ricky” Rosa and his wife Maria of Billerica; and one grandson, Justin Rosa. Victor’s funeral will be held from the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Saturday, August 17 at 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church at 11:30 am. Visiting hours will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4-8 pm. Burial will be at the Woodbrook Cemetery in Woburn.
