Obituary of Marguerite M Johnson

Marguerite M. (Anderson) Johnson, a resident of Woburn for 62 years formerly of Winchester, passed away peacefully at her home on October 28, 2019. She was 85 years of age. Marguerite was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 2, 1934 the daughter of Oscar R. and Esther H. (Lawson) Anderson. She grew up in Winchester and graduated from Winchester High School. Marguerite’s family was first and foremost in her life. She enjoyed hosting all the holiday meals and never missed attending a family event. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite vacation spot was Hawaii. Marguerite was the mother of Dianne J. Turney and her husband Paul of Woburn and Dennis J. Johnson and his wife Jacqueline of Swampscott. Twin sister of Marjorie Maginnis of Woburn, Mildred Zisa of New Jersey, the late Frederick Anderson, Evelyn Lloyd and Walter Anderson. Grandmother of Shane and Ashley Johnson, Craig Silva and the late Megan Silva. Great grandmother of Zachary Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Saturday, November 2 at 10:00am. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 4-8 pm.
