Obituary of Marjorie Johnson

Marjorie “Bunny” (Daw) Johnson, 95, died on Saturday Evening, November 2. She was the wife of the late Melvin “Bud” Johnson. Born and raised in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. Daw, and the late Margaret (Rock) Daw. Bunny was raised in Woburn, graduating from Woburn High School with the Class of 1942. She worked at the Atlantic Gelatin plant after high school, and later worked at the Kennedy Middle School in the Food Service Department for many years until her retirement. In her leisure time, Marjorie loved to travel, play Bingo, and root for the Red Sox and Patriots. Marjorie is survived by three children, Richard A. Johnson of Woburn, William P. Johnson of Maine, and Janice E. White of Nevada; twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by one son, the late Robert E. Johnson; one daughter, the late Deborah E. Johnson; and her siblings, the late Harry W. Daw, Jr., the late Thomas C. Daw, the late Richard A. Daw, the late Eleanor Murray, and the late Dorothy L. Connors. A funeral service will be held at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Friday, November 8 at 11:00 am, followed by burial at the Calvary Cemetery in Winchester.
