Obituary of Robert S Clark
Robert S. “Bob” Clark, 87, of Woburn, passed away after a short illness on Monday morning, November 11. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Comeau) Clark.
Born in Lexington on August 30, 1932 and raised in Winchester, he was the son of the late Ernest, and the late Mary (Stevens) Clark. “Bob,” as he was known to family and friends, was a graduate of Winchester High School; and he went on to attend George Mason University.
Bob and his wife Barbara were married on September 14, 1957. They lived in Reading, MA and Fairfax, Virginia before coming to Woburn in 1978. Prior to his retirement, Bob worked as a Sales Representative for several companies, including Philco, Sylvania, and Sony.
Bob loved spending time with his family, he was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed going out to eat. If you needed help working on your house, a ride somewhere, or anything else; Bob would be there for you.
In addition to his wife Barbara, Robert is survived by two daughters and a son, Susan Kaempf of Hudson, NH, Kathleen Varney and her husband Scott of Westford, and Paul Clark of Woburn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Stephen, Allison, David, Dominique, Curtis, Brett, and Erica; and one great granddaughter, Makayla. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, the late Ernest Clark.
Services will be private. Arrangements by the Graham Funeral Home, Woburn. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
