Julie and Mike were longtime friends of my parents. Julie, who I apparently called “Julie Glasses” when I was little, sewed me a red velvet dress when I was a baby, and I wore it in our family’s Christmas card that year. My mom still has the dress. She will be very missed❤️ lots of love to all. -Erica Chepulis

While we mourn the loss of my mom, Julie, we find comfort in knowing that she is free from pain and finally at peace. No one ever had to wonder what Julie was thinking, she would tell you whether you wanted to hear it or not- for better or worse, that was my mom! Julie was a kind soul who cared deeply for her family, her friends, and animals. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and genuinely wanted the people around her to be happy. She simply loved deeply and spoke her mind. I hope she has transformed into something beautiful and new, carrying with her all the love she gave to those fortunate enough to know her. Rest peacefully, Mom. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.

Julie and I became fast friends in high school. We were in the hiking club together. Her energy was magnetic. Julie was always moving: hiking, camping, cross country skiing, biking, walking, and working out in her home gym. She couldn’t sit still. I envied her creativity and appreciated her many custom designed gifts including jewelry, seat cushions and pillows. Rest in peace my friend. You were overdue. Always Alice & Randy

Words cannot even begin to express what I feel deeply in my heart for the loss of my dear friend Julie. We shared a lifetime of memories and I will always treasure them. I am so grateful to have had her in my life. Julie told it like it was and was not afraid to speak her mind, but she had a heart of gold. And if you were lucky enough to be her friend you had a special bond and felt her love in her many giving ways. She was a strong independent person who was extremely talented in anything she attempted. She was funny, her humor delivered in perfect timing, sometimes out of the blue, unexpectedly. I look around my home and see many pieces of her handiwork and I feel her presence. I am thankful for her friendship. She will forever have a special place in my heart. So beautifully said, She had the biggest heart, she really cared and loved her family and close friends deeply. We started out as neighbors in 1987 and became friends forever. Julie painted these beautiful flower rocks for My garden, one when I bought my home 25 years ago and one about 15 years ago. I bring them in my shed every winter and back out in my garden in the spring. I will always have a fond memory of her visits, which were often with her amazing smile, and always a special handmade gift of beaded necklaces, wreaths, zucchini & banana breads & hugs always.

Beautifully said and well done whoever wrote the obituary , Julie was my neighbor and she touched my heart by her love and her friendship she loved unconditionally without strings and she showed me the love of God , I will always remember her beautiful spirit and be thankful God put her in my life .
