Obituary of Teresa A. Hughes Ciccio

Teresa A. (Lazzaro) Hughes Ciccio, of Bourne, passed away on Sunday evening, March 8, 2026.  She was 69 years of age.

Born and raised in Medford, Teresa was the daughter of the late Frank A. Lazzaro, and the late Rita F. (Onistzuk) Lazzaro; and she was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore J. “Sal” Ciccio who passed away in 2024.

Teresa was a graduate of Medford schools, and she went on to attend Boston University.  Prior to her retirement, she worked for most of her career as a skip tracer for several collection agencies.

Teresa loved cooking and spending time with her family.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Teresa is survived by one son, Richard Sears and his fiancée Stephanie Fielding of Woburn; one daughter, Yvonne Hughes and her fiancé Trevor Craig of Port St. John, Florida; and four grandchildren, Rory & Luna Craig, and Gabriel & Skylee Grzesik.  Teresa is also survived by three brothers, Frank Lazzaro, Jr., Steven Lazzaro, Michael Lazzaro; one sister, Dianne Lazzaro; and she was predeceased by one brother, the late Anthony Lazzaro, Sr.; and one sister, the late Palma Lazzaro.  She also leaves behind many loving nieces & nephews; and her dog “Jackson.”

Visiting hours will be at the Arthur P. Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd. (cor. of Pleasant St.) Woburn on Saturday, March 21 from 4:00-6:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Teresa’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
