Obituary of Anthony T. DaCosta

Anthony T. DaCosta, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.  He was 39 years of age.

Born in Winchester and raised in Woburn, he was the son of Theresa (Gately) DaCosta of Woburn, and the late Anthony D. DaCosta.  Anthony attended Woburn Schools, and was a longtime employee of Whitehouse Moving and Storage in Stoneham.

Anthony enjoyed salt water and fresh water fishing, gardening, and spending time in his yard.  He was a devoted and loving father to his son Dylan.  Anthony was sociable and well-liked, with a wonderful sense of humor.

Anthony is survived by his son, Dylan DaCosta; his mother, Theresa DaCosta; his sister, Jeni Massone; and his nephew, Michael DaCosta; all of Woburn.  He is also survived by Dylan’s mom, Amanda Creekmore of New Hampshire; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful family.

Visiting hours will be at the Arthur P. Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Wednesday evening, February 18 from 5:00-8:00 pm.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19 at 10:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery in Winchester at 11:30 am.
