In March of 1934 at the age of two, accompanied by her mother she flew to the west coast to visit her farther Patrick LaCasse who was stationed on the USS Marblehead. She set a 9000 mile Air Mark for the first baby to travel by air from Boston to San Francisco.

After Dickies passing she purchased a Honda side by side ATV that she enjoyed exploring parts of Grand Lake Stream and having picnics at various locations around the lake.
