Obituary of Kevin J. Wells

Kevin J. Wells of Hampton Beach, NH, formerly of Billerica and Burlington, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Friday evening, December 5, 2025.  He was 64 years of age.

He was the beloved husband of Susan J. (Thomas) Wells.  Born in Woburn and raised in Burlington, Kevin was one of 5 sons of the late George B. Wells, Jr.; and the late Dorothy A. (Larsen) Wells.

Kevin was a graduate of Burlington Schools.  After marrying in 1983, Kevin and Susan, moved to Billerica, where they resided and raise their family until coming to Hampton Beach in 2017.  Prior to his retirement, Kevin worked for Raytheon Corporation as a HVAC mechanic.  He was an active member and Chief Steward of IBEW Local #1505, retiring in 2024 after 41 years.

Kevin was a 43 year, lifetime member, of the Woburn-Stoneham Elks.  He loved cruising and travelling with his friends and family.  Kevin and Susan especially loved spending time in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

In addition to his wife Susan, Kevin is survived by one son, Kevin J. Wells, Jr. and his girlfriend Steph of Dunstable; one daughter, Laura J. LeBlanc and her husband Andrew of Nashua, NH; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Jake, and Jaxx Wells, Emma, and Alexis LeBlanc; and one granddaughter on the way, Kinsley Wells.  Kevin is also survived by his four brothers, Stephen Wells and his wife Betsy of Woburn, Barry Wells and his wife Teresa of Beacon, NY, his twin brother Keith Wells of Hampton, NH, and Timothy Wells and his wife Karen of Woburn; and his father-in-law Edward Thomas and his wife the late Joann (Mulone) Thomas of Woburn  He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Debra Valente of Woburn, Cheryl Barrett and her husband Joseph of Billerica, and Patricia Piazza and her husband Angelo of Bridgewater, NH; and many nieces & nephews.

Visiting hours will be at the Graham Funeral Home, 3 Arlington Rd., Woburn on Wednesday, December 17 from 4:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral will be from the funeral home on Thursday, December 18 at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church, 851 Main St., Woburn at 10:00 am.  Interment will be private.
