Obituary of Betty G. Parechanian

Betty G. (Cowie) Parechanian, born on March 29, 1930 to Frank and Helen (Burnett) Cowie, died peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025.

Betty was the loving wife of the late Harold “Al” Parechanian, who predeceased her in 2014.  She was the devoted and loving mother to Dale Parechanian and his wife Leslie of Revere, Linda Calisi and her husband Anthony “Tony” of Westford, and Scott Parechanian and his girlfriend Terri Filippetti of Burlington; and Scott’s former spouse Mary Parechanian of Holden.

Betty was the beloved grandmother of Janelle, Justin, Jason and his wife Jennifer, Jonathan, Ashley, and Adam; and the beloved great grandmother “GG” to Aiden, Emma and Kiley Calisi.

She is predeceased by her sisters Helen Johnston and her husband William “Bill,” Marjorie McKenzie and her husband John “Russ,” and her brother Stanley; mother-in-law Susan E. Williams, and father-in-law John “Jack” Williams, brother-in-law Robert Parechanian and his wife Jane, sisters-in-law Maureen Fiorenza and her husband Joe, Marilyn Broadhead and her husband Jack, Mary Jane Casey and her husband Dr. Ed Casey, Marcia Crowse, Myrna Cormier, and Marjorie Puleo.  She is survived by her brother-in-law Joe Puleo, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews and cousins.
