Obituary of Eileen P. Laferriere
Eileen P. (Crimmins) Laferriere, 62, of Woburn, MA and Warren, Vermont, passed away after an almost five-year battle with cancer on Thursday evening, June 12, 2025. She was the wife of Leo E. Laferriere.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Joseph, and the late Elizabeth Crimmins. Eileen was raised in Oradell, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Eileen had also Lived in Roslindale, MA. She was employed for 25 years at Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMR) and later at Shire Pharmaceuticals. She retired from Pfizer in June of 2021.
Eileen enjoyed winters skiing at Sugarbush, Vermont and summers in the Vermont’s Mad River Valley. She also took many ski trips around the world. She loved attending the Newport Jazz festival, Baking-especially apple pie, and cooking for her family.
In addition to her husband Leo, Eileen is survived by one daughter, Michelle Laferriere of Woburn. She is also survived by her sister Denise Groesbeck of Safety Harbor, FL; and her brothers Richard Crimmins of St. Petersburg, FL and Robert Crimmins of Peabody, MA.
A Private memorial and celebration of Eileen’s life will be held at a later date.
