Aunt Ria was the kindest sweetest person I have ever know. Ria and Cliff would visit us every year in Bristol, Va. on their trip to Florida. Ria welcomed us to her home and shared the history of the family. We always talked about our cats. Every phone call was a joy. I spoke with her on Christmas Day and would never have thought it would be the last time. She will be greatly missed.

Aunt Ria, we truly lost an angel this week. I will never forget when we stayed with you and Uncle Cliff on our way from VA to CA. We had such fun with Susan, and you and Cliff would make everyone laugh. I remember when you and Uncle Cliff came out to Cali and we did a little driving tour and we had lunch at Torrey Pines Golf Course. He was so funny he went to the bathroom and came back to announce how he can't wait to tell the boys back home that he peed in the same place Tiger did. You would always laugh and have a big smile and twinkling eyes. Yes, you will be missed but not forgotten. Rest is peace. Linda Murray Scott

Our friendship was short. Sharing a table at Arlington seniors event with your bestie Rose. We began our little luncheons and afternoons with Rose. Sharing our stories of “The Good Old Days”, lots of laughs. Age has slowed us a bit. Memories of your warm hugs and smiles will be forever with me. Rest in peace my dear new friend. Claire Foley
