Mr. And Mrs Wells and the entire family give us all an example of the importance of faith, compassion, selflessness and grace. I grew up with the family and always knew there was something special going on. It all became clear to me at Mr. Wells’ wake where I realized the impact the family had on my life. While the patriarch and matriarch are with God the generations that follow are reflections of Joe and Jackie and will carry on walking in their footsteps We are all better for it.

Joe and all the Wells families; I’m very sorry to hear about your Dad’s passing. I’ve been fortunate to have known Joe and many family members for most of my life. I always looked forward to seeing Joe and whoever he was with when he’d visit me when I tended bar at the Legion. He was always smiling and in a good mood and enjoyed seeing everyone, always. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and he will be missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know him. I hope you have enough happy memories to get you through these very hard times. To Joe, Heather, and the entire Wells family: my sympathies and condolences on the passing of your father/father-in-law.Joe and Jackie were daily communicants at morning mass at St Anthony of Padua. Joe was genuinely friendly and was ever ready to elicit laughter after Mass. Woburn has lost one of its finest citizens, but his warehouse of memories will persist. Requiem en oace, Joe.
